Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign

The FNEC launched a cybersecurity awareness campaign last October in an effort to make the internet as secure as possible for our member schools, and across the FNEC network.

To this end, the FNEC has organized cybersecurity awareness training through the CIRA (Canadian Internet Registration Authority) training platform for each of its employees, Kiuna college staff & all teaching and support staff in member schools.

The training consists of 4 online lessons of 15 minutes each and a phishing campaign of a few months that all ends in August 2022.

For any information or inquiries on this training, please do not hesitate to contact M Marc Lévesque, FNEC ICT Pedagogic councillor at 418-842-7672 or by email: mlevesque@cepn-fnec.com

Science Fair Training Workshops
The FNEC is proud to have worked again with the Quebec Aboriginal Science and Engineering Association (QASEA) to offer training workshops for all teachers via ZOOM. This training aimed to help them motivate and supervise their students in scientific projects. All in preparation for the 22nd edition of the Quebec Aboriginal Science Fair (QASF).
