The programs and finance team—for informed decision-making

In keeping with management and Finance and Administration Committee guidelines, sound financial management of the FNEC and Kiuna Institution is at the heart of what we do. Our services include anything to do with the proper functioning of the administration in First Nations education, in addition to ongoing operation.

Operations and coordinations

Ongoing operations

  • account reconciliation;
  • payments;
  • payroll;
  • billing;
  • auditing;
  • presenting audited financial statements;
  • human resource management .

In addition we coordinate

  • financial reports;
  • budget forecasts;
  • government-funded programs (agreements, proposal forms, final reports).

Assistance

We also assist management and the Finance and Administration Committee in financial and administrative decision-making and provide consulting services on producing financial statements to member communities.
